I would love to see the hitbox. Something like a glow around the player would be nice. You just wonder if its a bug when you hit someone while shooting in between his legs. I think thats counter intuitive. It's good to know where to hit an enemy in a shooter :D

Thank you for the link but I dont think u understand what I mean. I want to see it midgame. a glow around the player to see where to shoot. The hitbox strongly differs from the skin and hiting is not intuitive. I want to add that I would like an ovoid shape for the hitbox. Hitting is just a bit more random if the hitbox is too complex.

Have You ever played shootmania? Each player has glow and You can adjust size if you think it's to big.
My Gamemodes:
MP4 - Countdown, Firefight
MP3 - Reduction, Overload, Flashpoint, Territory, SM Race, Escape
MP2 - Search & Destroy, Oscillation, Instagib

Have you read what he writes?

He's not talking about a glow for colouring or being seen in the dark.

He's talking about an exact visualisation of the hitbox rather than the PlayerModel. He wants the cylinder that represents the hitbox to glow, so one can see, what one really needs to shoot instead of the almost meaningless PlayerModel that is sometimes IN and sometimes OUTSIDE of the actual hitbox.

In fact Hylis, before posting those pics of the MP3 hitbox, has once stated that he might think about this very feature.

It's not possible to show exact position of hitbox because server is a judge, not client so what is the point if player will always have lagged position?

U would improve the chances to let the judge more often decide what u thought neads to be decided.

Or more drastically: Why show the inpersice position of the skin while not showing the position of the hitbox.

That's kinda the point :P If you want to get top score, you have to run perfectly.
But do you know the feeling when if you have too many points, you start failing at places you didn't know you can fail at :P
