Reminds me at toy soldiers or toy story.Zooz wrote:I remember playing a map that was like a **** scaled up to a huge size in some old FPS. It was pretty popular. It doesn't always have to be the stereotypical shooter environments to be fun

Re: "Enviroments" of ShootMania
LOL maybe this is how they'll put the toy enviro into the ManiaWorld...as a shooter! Think of it...a house as your battlefield...

Reminds me of this: http://www.microvolts.com/Vexyde wrote:Actually I'd prefer if ShootMania had some more "exotic" environments. Of course those typical dungeon deathmatch maps or big outdoor areas are nice, but what about that cancelled toy environment from TMU? Playing something like that in ShootMania could be fun

if you have jetpacks, then verticle building blocks might be interesting, long falls would be deadly.
Re: "Enviroments" of ShootMania
You remember shootmania-carpark posted this image of a 3d-model. I want to know if this is something we can expect in the game?

a spore style tank-park where you can add touches to a tank and a plane would work for me... your avatar would need to be exposed.
Re: "Enviroments" of ShootMania
Cool, perhaps there won't be any other characters than just vehicles like this ingame? It certainly made me more curious
Re: "Enviroments" of ShootMania
I know we will be far from perfection, but that's only to express that sometimes I see too many things in today's game for my taste. It seems that quantity is used instead of quality in some fields.Antoine de Saint-Exupéry wrote:Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away
and yes, I know, you would like us to remove the cyclic turbo in TM, but they were made on purpose.
Re: "Enviroments" of ShootMania
The cyclic turbos do serve one good purpose for most of the "serious" trackbuilders - it's great for speeding up the stadium car on PX tracks.
