It was a misunderstanding to assume they would release something new already in spring.
Nadeo is apparently working almost only on TrackMania, until they release something bigger, this year.
At the moment it looks like they're preparing something for the summer holidays.

And for next year they plan to focus again more on ShootMania.

Hm... I do not know where they're working. I did not see anything new except a new online games with 3 in 1 TM. As I understand this is the "year of TM"? More online-servers and races? They do nothing! I am sure that they are now engaged in more great objectives - ShootMania Power Up (a small QuestMania - "Dota")). The end.
This means that they forgot TM forever. (Or are working on it with great reluctance).

Somehow it all sad. I thought Nadeo care about the community, but they are just parasitic on it - "the powered by players," Hmm If was not be the Ark_ they would never done an "experimental block mode" to the block mixing. And of course it was not as soon for supporting 3D blocks.

It's just a shame, "Nadeo".

Nadeo people cannot do everything at the same time, but they also won't do better only because a few like you are unhappy.

It's nothing compared to those that created the _Ark and Rumpelbube. You do not a whit of advancing compared to "United forever" just compare how many people are here, and how much there and you will see the difference.

I waited four years for a normal exit the ManiaPlanet station and all what I got this restructuring TM and unfinished shooter Quake.
It's just a shame for the developer. Kill a lot of time on God knows what, and then another and deceive everyone, giving new for old. Hmm... Wonderful block units! So much so that we get a lot of mistakes during the use of only because of one pathetic curve path to the folder. Why Nadeo not create a repository to store all of these tons? So what's the matter? The progress with ManiaPlanet might look slow, but Nadeo has opened much more possibilities that there were with TM/TMUF.
You always compare to now totally outdated stuff (neither Arc nor Rumpelbube are doing anything anymore themselves since ages and they will never come back due to personal reasons).
Some people did really great in TM/TMUF, but those times are almost over, now it is the time for ManiaPlanet.
Instead of sticking that much to ancient times you should open your mind and look forward.
But if you don't like it, then please step aside and let those in peace who really want to contribute.

By the way, the whole TrackMania would not exist without Hylis,
so your wish to push him away is simply hilarious and shows how silly you are thinking.

If Hylis would stop working on ManiaPlanet, this would be the end of Nadeo, of ManiaPlanet and also of TrackMania.
There would be no other support then perhaps account issues.
But do not think this would make again enhancements of TMU possible.
Ubisoft would simply close everything.
And then you wouldn't have anything left anymore.

I prefer to have a more modern game with ongoing development, with more possibilities and more diversity,
than a old-fashioned closed game with restrictions which will never change anymore.

If you decide to stick narrow-minded to TMUF, it's your good choice, but then you have leave this forum forever, since you don't have anything to do here.
