I know there's a bug of the music stopping at map start mostly in shootmania, but I think that's not what you're talking about?

Is it possible to connect to a local server inside and outside of the LAN at the same time now?

I just updated a server to this version, and it began to lagg with 5 players, than I downgraded to the 1.2b version and all was just fine. (Mode is Royal)

Interesting. I upgraded to 1.2d last night and had 10-13 players in and we did just fine. My SnapshotDeltaTime was actually lower than normal with pings around the same as normal for me. There were others on the server that said they were getting better ping; some seeing better SnapshotDeltaTimes and others seeing about the same.

No complained about lag except for the occasional during the close firefights when the offzone is right at the pole (also playing Royal on our server.)

I wonder what can help track down what was different on your server than mine? And where were your players from? We host in the USA and that night most of our players were from the USA. Other nights we've had a mix of home country and foreign. I'll have to watch it again closely when we have a lot of foreign players.

Maybe you can try the Ctrl-F11 trick (hit it three times) they mentioned in another post and provide a screenshot of what it reports on-screen when you see the lag with more than 5 players.

As I said I downgraded now to old version, but when I upgrade back I will make a screenshot, but we had really big laggs and if you was walking ahead you got a short lagg right. Server is in a hosting centre in Germany, and most people are playing on the server are from Europe.

But as I said, with the old version is all fine.

Maybe the following setting is the Problem:

I added a work around if the server is on the same machine as the client. but otherwise, still not possible.

Hi i put this unofficial version on our Testserver.

Even if the last player disconnect from the Server we got a servercrash with the following line in the log:

"LAN" is not a recognized value here, so the line has no effect effectively, it uses the default values.
(which apparently are for some reason: 384KBps upload and 6144KBps download.)

--> so that may explain the issue.

for the record, that can help to find what's going on when there is a low frame rate issue, not so much when there are "lags".
for lags, the analyser (aka the key next to '0') helps more.
