Are you using Stadium with Steam? For me the batch works only with the standalone version of ManiaPlanet without Steam.

I have got the Standalone but the batch isnt working for me. Maniaplanet starts windowed, i have to login and then it gets stuck in the maniaplanet-Logo doing nothing.

Try to put the game in single account mode (Launcher/Configure/Profile).

it actually downloads something like 1 gigabytes from internet and should start converting then. Apparenly there is missing the download status message and info

I had the same problem. The only way I could get it to work was by disconnecting from the internet, starting the batch and logging in offline. Then it would work and I could reconnect to the net again.

No idea why it happens like that for me, but you might have the same thing.

I suggest that, if the server reaches the catch block, it writes a line to the log, e.g.:

Could not load map Sunny_Days17.Challenge.Gbx (GGcXeF_xFm3f5COIVTCggnmTBw) due to exception of type std::bad_alloc, skipping...
and then silently skip the map. Maybe there should also be a new Event that gets triggered here for the plugins like xaseco to catch these and be able to show an information to the players.

Happened to my server too this afternoon.
Sometimes all players get invalid time, and sometimes it crash randomly from 220 to 250 players.
