[MP] Maniaplanet won't update

Hi,

So at the moment maniaplanet is refusing to update (of sorts) and this is what is happening.

1. Launch Maniaplanet
2. I login to my profile
3. Maniaplanet prompts me to update
4. Maniaplanet will start update but after 500kb downloaded will restart the downloading file without prompt and will loop this process till aborted

you need to make update without Ezvid, because there is something incompatible with it
































no maybe that's because of the .exe being refused by norton? I don't know. Try without resident program.
If it does not work, you may try to do get the .exe from someone else and the remaining of the download may work better. if it's a network link, maybe try a better bandwith (no wireless) I can not tell

I'll try downloading with Norton's firewall disabled first, then I'll run through my options till I get it to work.

Checked Norton's exceptions in the firewall, all were on auto so I switched Mp's to allow. It's now downloading fine

Aaand nevermind. It just reset.

I'll try again tomorrow.

it's reset because ManiaPlanet.exe changed (could be detected as potential virus attack).

FIXED. Maniaplanet is now updating correctly, however I am no longer running in High Definition anymore.

you can set the resolution in the launcher tool (Configure -> check the high resolution checkbox) and then hires textures might be downloaded again.
