Did you try to download it with a software like Internet Download Manager?

I just bought TM2 and tried to download and install it, but I'm having problems...

Firstly, the download was going incredibly slow. Much slower than my connection allows. I tried both through the download manager and through direct download. Anyway, after a full day and a half of downloading, I install it and during installation it says it has corrupt files! I click retry a few times which doesn't help, so I have to just click 'ignore' on them. The installation completes however, and I set up my TM account and everything, but then I have to download an update, which it starts (going incredibly slow again), but always fails (says it can't connect to server. Error code: 12002).

Can anyone help me please? I really hope I didn't just throw away $25 for nothing

Try to disable firewall and antivirus.

Thanks for your reply. I tried your suggestion but unfortunately it doesn't seem to work. I'm trying to re-download it, but it's still going really slow (and coming up with failure messages every now and then where I have to press 'retry').

From what I see most of you have a problem with TMCanyon_HD.zip and some TMCanyon PAK.
Could it be that a corrupt copy of these files got distributed? (just a wildshot).
Besides that,a problem with the Setup exists which was pointed out in a post on the first few pages. Is it solved?
I don't see another possible explanation.I don't know what stands in the PM but does it help?I don't wanna fuck off my laptop :?
Like,i've been out of commission for...SIX HUNDRED AND TWENTY TWO YEARS?
Right,that's kind of messed up.
