how to install it:
1st download
2nd copy to MydataofMP\scripts\editorplugins\trackmania

how to enable it :
1st go to editor
2nd go to plugins [P]
3rd click on "tipplugin"
4th you can test it!

* you are missing a p in 'one step back'

You could make this thing a bit more context sensitive like

if (EditMode == CEditorPlugin::EditMode::FreeLook) {
  text = "(It looks like you are trying to look around. Use ...)>";
}

(EditMode changes for example on holding the ALT-key)

if (EditorInputIsDown_CursorDelete) {
  text = "(Did you know you can erase blocks by holding down the x-key and clicking them?)>";
}

Oh well and maybe some " ☐ don't show this tip again" (+ reset tutorials option), but that might be a bit over the top
