[Tutorial] Make it Rain+video help

Hello everyone

Rain Image Size note this is the white text on the pic.
First put the scale of image to X 2.5 and the Y to 10.

Rainfall and speed of falling unlimited Rain note this is the Red text on the pic.
Click on the start of the bar "note this is the number 1" on the pic.
and move the rain image up the screen, but also keep the full cover of the rain on the screen.
Now click on the end of bar "note this number 2 on the pic, and move
the image down the screen, but also keep fully covered again, while still on the number 2 bar,
move it towards number 1, this will make the speed of the rain falling down the screen !
the speed is to your custom i used Time 0.00.98, this is in the lower screen shot in white text.

Unlimited Rainfall inside the red square top left corner.
Ticking the "keep playing box" means the image will stay on the screen.
Ticking the "is cycling" means the image of the rain will never stop falling down the screen,
this is why i said you must keep the image covering the full screen, or you will see a gap in the rain.

Rain transparent Opacity note this is the yellow text on the screen shot.
If you click and hold onto the little red slider and move it left, you adjust the look of the rain, it will
become more transparent. this is upto you "what makes to happy" Please note you must set this
on the number 1 and number 2 on the bar as well, example to the above Opacity click the start of
the bar number 1 and then hold the Opacity red icon move it to the letter "O" in the word opacity.
now click on the end of the bar number 2, and again put the slider to the letter "O" of opacity,
now the effect of the rain will be set as the same in unlimited falling look.

Rain Image download and save it in Docs/ManiaPlanet/Media/Images
Please note yous will have to host the Image somewhere, but dropbox is a good site for this, and remember yous
will also have to make a locater file for it, for others to see your image in game.

Thankyou to SKleer who made a rain pack, but i only wanted the Rain image so i have ripped it from
his pack.

I must say sorry for the videos this was my first go. and hope these 3 videos help out more.
please remember when you add your keys anywhere in the editor mode example in game. you will have make the image everytime. YES its alot of work. and also for the Outro again alot of work.

i had it saved in the media side, in the Images, but to save alot of time not sure if you can
add the full file the way you want it, Then export/save but it will become a GBX file i think
not sure if you need to make a loc file for that..not sure if it will work !

i have added the car headlights flash this way and never had to make a loc file. But saying that
the headlight flash is apart of the coding in game GBX...

So if it does work a loc file maybe needed
maybe we need a answer from NADEO on this ?

which files do you have located?
just the rain picture or a sound too?

if you have only the image-mt located, so change it to the standard picture and save it. then export it as a clip and post it here to download
after that you can add the rain.dds (which should be the picture from the first post i guess) and we can create then our own locator for this image and then we can replace the standard image with the rain image

so we don't need to use your tutorial for creating the rain, because it's all saved and the locator works too

the image shows you how to make the main small rain image fall down the screen and with speed
and also making it the right size..

i have included a link to the smaller image of the rain, for yous to download and then checkout the
pic of how to make the rain fall unlimited..

i will not host the image for yous, you will have to make your own loc file for the image
