"tangent" value of the "time" block

Hi,

What is the use of the "tangent" value of the "time" block in the MT ? When I try to change it, it always goes back to the same value automatically and has no effect ??? Bug?

Apparently, nobody knows in fact! :D The guy who coded that function must have quit the job or something before explaining :D
