Description:
There are some poles on the map. A team gets score for each pole it owns. The first team to reach the score limit wins. If the time limit is reached, the team with the higher score wins.

Description:
This game mode is about scoring by surviving. All players start in blue team and try to survive without an infected (red team) infecting them. The first infected is chosen after some seconds. Infecteds infect other players by touching them, but they can't shoot (except the first infected who gets a nucleus). A round is over when all players are infected or the time limit is over. You win by reaching the score limit.

Hi everyone.

So here is a little presentation of our new gamemode,
actually in beta test !

Territory Gamemode (By BomB_A and QgD_)
(wolfenstein enemy territory inspired)

"Two teams - n vs n. The purpose of this mode is to capture a maximum of poles. A match is divided in two rounds. During a round, each team plays a round in attack and on in defense. The attackers must capture in order poles on the map. Defenders must stop them. After 2 rounds, the team that captured the most poles wins the map. If the Defenders hold a pole during 4 min they stop the round. With each new round, team sides change and the attackers resume at the beginning of the map. Each Players from both team respawn after an elimination '


- Match 2 rounds (Attack / Defense)
- 4 minutes timer to capture 1 pole - 35s (Cumulative) to capture the Pole (may varied during Beta)
- If the goal is captured, a new pole is unlock (20s timer between each pole to be capturable)
- If the defense holds a pole during 4 min, the round is over.
- The winning team is the one that has captured the most goals during attack side.


Some gameplay features :

- Classes System : Rail / Nucleus / Rocket (available for both teams)

- "Rocket" : Ammo 4 // 2 hits to eliminate
- "Rail" : Ammo 2 // 2 hits to eliminate
- "Nucleus" : Ammo 1 // 2 hits to eliminate


- Up to 9 consecutives goals on the map type (good number between 4 or 6)



Wishes for the future:

- Add différent objectives type to capture (like flag for final obj for example)
- Development of a competitive mode in 5x5 (1 Rail / 1 Nucleus / 3 to 5 Rocket)
- Add different highlight for each class.
- Stopwatch mode !! (need help for this !)

Obstacle

- Finish the obstacle course as fast as possible.
- To validate a race you must touch the finish after going through all the checkpoints.
- You can start over and improve your time as often as you want.
- The player with the best time at the end of the map wins.

Description:
There are two teams, every team owns a team goal. The team goal already is captured at the round start. The team has to capture the opponents team goal to win the map.

On the map are several goals that are connected among each other. They connect the team goals. There can be multiple ways between the team goals. Any goal connected to another one of your team can be captured. If a connected goal belongs to the opponent team it can be neutralized. From 0% to 100% a goal is uncaptured, on neutralizing from 100% to 0% it is still captured and connected goals can be captured or neutralized.

If a opponents goal is not connected to his team goal anymore it is isolated. An isolated goal can be neutralized even without a connection to the goal by your team, but not captured.

You can enable a goal bonus. That means you get +1 armor if capturing a goal also the opponent is able to capture. The bonus is achieved by every player on the goal of the capturing team. The maximum of armor is set to 4. The maximum only increases if you have the full armor. The bonus is not taken beyond death. You will always spawn with 2 armor.

Description:
-at the beginning no one is infected
-when pole is captured, the infected will be killed and a new infected will be choose by random
-when pole is captured first time, no one will be killed, because there is no infected
-when the infected hits another player, the infected pass the virus on the victim

2-100 :D

Description:

-red team are the hunted and blue team are the hunters
-at the beginnig, all players are forced to blue
-then hunted is/are chosen by random and is/are forced to red
-hunters play with rocket and have 1 armor, hunted play with laser and the armor of one hunted is calculated by the following term: hunterscount / huntedcount
-hunted usually spawn before hunters
-hunters are until X seconds after spawning unvulnerable ( only at first spawning )
-hunters respawn, hunted not
-please do not change team manually, because that destroys the mode's balance
-hunters win, when every hunted is dead before time ends , hunted win, when time limit is over

Hello all,

Finally HideAndSeek has been released and I can present you this new gamemode for Shootmania.

With the new features of maniascript we are able to create own gamemodes in Shootmania with a whole automatic system. It is not necessary any longer reminding people changing their team or writing peoples names in the chat when they were caught.

All those problems are over with our new automatic gamemode.

Because of the automation of the gamemode events will be more often, because it is much easier handling such an event.


Rules:
Hide and Seek is a fun game mode, in which the objective is to find and catch the enemy or to hide yourselves.
In the blue team are the seeker and in the red team are the hider.
If a red player is caught (or he died for any other reason), he will be forced automatically
into the blue team.
When the last red player is left a red countdown will be displayed (default 60sek).
If the red manages to survive these 60 seconds, he gets bonus points.

Aim with your crosshair the button and press "e" to open the second page!.



FoxControl:
Fox-Control is modified for the HideAndSeek-gamemode. It is possible to save the points and it is much easier for Admins to manage all players.
There is a special mechanism for the points system.

point system:
for blue:
hit: 1 point + combopoints

for red:
if another red player is caught: 1 point
last red in the team: 5 points
countdown survived: 5 points


Combopoints:
If you catch more than one person per round there will be a combo mode.
maximum: 3 points.

1. hit = 1 point + 0 combopoints = 1
2. hit = 1 point + 1 combopoints = 2
3. hit = 1 point + 2 combopoints = 3
4. hit = 1 point + 2 combopoints = 3
5. hit = 1 point + 2 combopoints = 3

We are glad about every map you build.
Here is a short introduction how to create a HideAndSeek-map:
First download this file: http://www.maniaview.mania-community.de ... Script.txt

Save this file here:
documents/ManiaPlanet/Scripts/MapTypes/Shootmania/

When you open your map editor click the hammer in the menu.
Change the maptype to HideAndSeek with your previously downloaded file.

In the top left corner should be the new gamemode.

Tutorial to create a map with Hide&Seek Script!

Upload your new map to Mania-Exchange so an admin will be able to upload the map on the server.
