Hey, in this topic you can view all the plugins for maniaplanet I have written. Have fun

Here's the list:
  • Delete Everything Plugin
  • Test Drive from the Startline Plugin
  • Random terrain generator
  • Shape Creator (NEW!)

Insallation
Simply open this mamialink:
akplugin

Manual install:
Download from here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6859456/Maniapl ... Scripts.7z
and unzip the "Scripts" folder that is inside the zip into your maniaplanet folder (My Documents/ManiaPlanet)

Delete Everything Plugin
because i couldn't find a tool to delete the whole map, i've created an editor plugin.
Features:
  • DELETE
  • Delete all the Blocks and the whole terrain on the map.( same as you would create a new Map)
  • Delete all the Blocks without terrain. This will enable you to save only the terrainstructure
  • Delete all the Terrainblocks. This will only delete the terrainblocks.
  • Delete the custom selection
    SHADOWS
  • Recalcultae shadows by clicking a single button
  • Set an interval in minutes, when you want to recalculate shadows. This will enable you to recalutlate shadows for example every minutes automaticaly
Here a screenshot:

Test Drive from the Startline Plugin
because i missed the feature to Test drive from the Start int TMU alredy, i've created an editor plugin for TM2. In other words, you can now test your track from beginning without always having to search the startblock.
Features:
  • Immediately test drive your track without needing to search the startpoint first and without needing to wait 3 seconds
Here a screenshot:

Random Terrain Generator Plugin
Someone asked for it and I did it :) : A random terrain generator, atm you can only set the number of "terrainblocks" to create, but lot more to come(you can already customize the maximal and minimal terrain heights inside the script)
Features:
  • Create a random terrain with the terrain Blocks.
The best Result I got so far:

AK Shape Creation sub-collection
This Plugin enables you to create Shapes with the Blocks. At the moment you have the choice between cubes and spheres, but you can configure the sizes and set them hollowed or not.
Here is how it works: with plus icon you can add one or more shapes to the selection. You only need to click, where the center of the shape should be. If you want to have other dimensions or make the shape hollowed, you have to change that in the shape-settings menu before. If you are finished with your selecion, you can finish it by pressing the finish button. Now you can select a Block, like you would do in normal edit Mode. When you made your choice you now only need to click fill and your custom selection will be filled with your block. To clear you selection, you have to do this with the updated delete-plugin.

Here 2 fast screenshots:

Same. I wanted an easy way to wipe it all without restarting.

Only thing to add is a lightup function when you mouse over.

Thank you very much :thx:
I was so excited that I wrote yet another plugin: the test drive from startline plugin
Did you ever wanted to test drive the map from the startline? this is the solution :roflol:
The script is written very tricky and is still buggy. You have to click on a button and then doublepress enter without moving the mouse xD
As always, see the first post for more informations. :D

If you have any other wishes for editor plugins, just post them and i will give my best to create them ;) (if it is possible of course ^^ )
I probably thought of a random map generator.

(Offtopic: is it in BBCode possible to give titles id's? I want to give the users the possibility to automatically scroll to a plugin-title. So i coult make on the top of the post a url-list with links like this: http://forum.maniaplanet.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3381#AKdeleteEverythingPlugin)

P.s sorry for my bad english xD

Probably not, but each post has its own "anker", just add a reply for every plugin ;).

For example, you can scroll to your last post with this link: http://forum.maniaplanet.com/viewtopic. ... 486#p54486

@Ravious: Thank you :yes:
@svens: Yes, that would be a possibilty... but then i had to reservere alot of posts, but I don't know yet how many plugins i'm gonna write and don't know how many posts I would have to reserver (10, 100, 1000 :roflol: )

I'm working a.t.m. on a new plugin. The sphere creator. It enables you tho generate a sphere with a specific block and specific size.
I don't know if it is useful for anybody, but as there were no specific plugin requests and this is a good way to learn more about maniascript, i wrote this one ;)
It is still wip and buggy, but here a frist screenshot:
