Nice question and same question for me
Have you tested with This.UnLoad() ?

Re: Title packs
what do you think which class has "This"?
Re: Title packs
CMlScript
You can, for example, store persistent data for your manialink with :
declare persistent Integer MyInteger for This = 1138;
It's just an idea for This.UnLoad(), in case of we could UnLoad This

Re: Title packs
well i just asked about the class because CMlScript doesn't have a method Unload()
Re: Title packs
effectively !!
Re: Title packs
so does anyone have an idea how to emulate the right-click-quit in a custom title pack menu?
(in any other menu you can right click to get back but not in custom menus)

Re: Title packs
Hello! Can I made two campaigns for my title-pack? I want two buttons for two campaigns (with two gamemodes)
For example:
Solo =>
-TimeAttack (A01, A02, etc)
-Rounds (A01, A02, etc)
Thanks!

Re: Title packs
hi!
this post is all well and good. the problem is that I have created the pack and I have it loaded into a station, but for some reason the picture that is shown in the stations is just 'trackmania 2 drift (the big logo), the collection and the author. i have no idea what's going on, and there's now way I'm gonna post an almost finished but ugly pack.
bye!

Re: Title packs
A simple question:
how i do include A LOT of objects in a title
without adding manually one by one?
Why dont' you trash the unstructured ADDING contents in building title
and simply add:
Static Items folder
Dynamic Items folder
Car Folder
etc etc.
The builder title procedure is an esotheric acid trip
and nobody seems to care.
The forum section is a jam of different arguments,
and lack of the basic tutorials (eg: how to add a lot of objects).
A bunch of heroes still still dare to dig into ever-in-progress-code, (Steffeen)
some super-hero realized tutorials, (HawkGer)
fews are keeping the pace with "improuvements", (Meuh, Spaii)
some newbie, after digging like shipwrecked on an alien Planet,
bravely ask simples questions that requires complicated answers
and receive compassionate help from sympathetic co-sventured builders
or from teh "index-Vivant", TMarc.
I feel stupid after 20 months of "practice",
not being able to include my objects without this error.
And when i feel stupid,
i became to loose patience
and i start seriously to ask:
"Do i am stupid,
or i'm breaking my head against CONFUSED instructions?"
----
Oh yes,
someone will pop up asking me to be "constructive" instead of criticizing...
Well, please check my first post in this section: it date nov 2012

does somebody care to figure out what this "thing" is?
It is a WORKFLOW.
There are all the thing you must KNOW in a single page.
It took few weeks to me to draw from scratch:
Ok, it's old, it's wrong,
but should be ME to do such things?
It should take seconds for Nadeo to draw.
Then add hiperlink and you have a BASIC REFERENCE workflow.
Worst,
if all my questions are unuseful because in the forum or in wikipedia or in youtube
there is a reasonable answers for anything i talk about,
where is the INDEX of all support-related resources?
Sometimes i opted to ask help
to the best cross indexes of entire ManiaPlanet: TMarc and Alinoa.
and i got kindly and useful answers.
But...
...the basic line is cristal clear:
if there are tools for expanding ManiaPlanet,
those tools must be ACCESSIBLE and working for anyone,
from newbie to expert.
Dot.
Invent whatever you want. Fulfill the duty.
Bah,
i'm loosing time asking,
old problems are buried under new,
and devs migrate in swarms toward new "alien-planets"
where people run by foot instead by wheels
and try to kill each other...
...
i know, i know that anyone at Nadeo is pushing 200%,
but...
I admit here,
heretically and dramatically:
i'm pissed off,
but... who cares...

Re: Title packs

I have to agree with that , people make the most beautifull things but kind a forget to explain ( in a noob way ) how to install stuff.
Example to get a Maniaplanet-Dedicated-Manager runnning :
Quick start tutorial
Updated Jul 19, 2012 by melot.philippe
Requirements
A web server with short tags enabled
A MySQL server
The latest version of the dedicated server
PHP 5.3.2 or higher
Gettext for php
How to setup
Download the archive. It contains the DedicatedManager itself, ManiaLive with the needed plugin, and a SQL script to create the database.
Unzip it wherever you want on your server
Use your SQL Manager (phpMyAdmin, HeidiSQL, etc.) to import Manager.sql, this will create the database and its tables
Edit the DedicatedManager's config file (DedicatedManager/config/app.ini) and give the correct values to the following parameters:
application.URL
database.use
database.password
DedicatedManager\Config.dedicatedPath
DedicatedManager\Config.manialivePath
Create the alias manager on your web server. This alias must linked to the www folder in DedicatedManager
You have to know something about websites and stuff to get it runnning.
So , no tut. for a noob.
So I also often bang my head against a wall.
But there are always friendly people to help out on forums.
