Why you crypt this? I wanna modify TPS Gaseco like Aseco, FoxControl etc.! Make it Public under GNU => Nobody is allowed to edit and publish, but to upload it on the own Webspace for don´t know what. But don´t decrypt the Code!

No it is impossible, or all servers are in danger.
Tps is not only a simply rec saver. It do much more things, and i can't permit to modify the core.
Maybe in the future, i will encrypt only the core and leave clean the plugins.
DOn't matter, give me time, and all will be ok.

EDIT : It is already at half...50%.
But i repeat, i will sure give clean plugins.

That makes me really really sad, Gekko. I know, TPS is more, then just a Server Controller. But that´s it, why I so love TPS and I wanna make it better, with adding Plugins and Modifying the Core. But that´s not possible, if you decrypt it . I think i´ve wait enaugh time, till the release of TPS.
The main reasen, why i´ve a Server is that I can Code at the Controller and trying to make it better. I wanna learn coding Plugins and at the end, (maybe) coding an own Controller.
Now I just can help you with coding external things like the Batch file ....

Yes the content of TPS is encrypted to don't reveal the code.

Which is a shame, since the TrackMania community is build on sharing your stuff...

Not only a shame, but a legal issue too. TPS is derived of Aseco. Aseco is licensed under the GNU GPL, which means TPS must be licensed under the GPL too (unless the authors of Aseco allowed Gekko that).

The first version Gekko posted here wasn't encrypted. It's a shame that he copied huge parts of Aseco, but replaced the comments, which would reveal the real authors and the license in the main file.

Actually TPS doesn't really need code encryption. Function and variable names are all Italian, I'd call that obfuscated code if you don't know the language. The advantage is that you can easily find out which code was written by Gekko, just by looking at the names.

TPS has some very creative ideas behind. But things like this are just major drawbacks.

The only files equal to Aseco are the Includes.
If you want i can leave them clean, no problem for me. But them are not all by Aseco author.
Gaseco is totally, completely different.
It doesn't use neither 1 of Aseco original plugins.
Yes it use the idea or some workflow. But, yeah, i also started to get interested when i read FAST from Slig (that for me was the best ever), but this mean nothing.

And is not a shame, cause i give for free. Where the 3% of Aseco is present is always shown the authors name.
So is all ok.
And what you know about the code to say is Aseco? Cause it come from it?

I repeat again, 97% TPS, 3% Aseco.
3% is
- GbxRemote that is from many author, and is an old file written in years.
- xmlparser : yes i like it how is done. It came from aseco.
- basic : yes come from aseco, but i completely changed it

Edit: You know what happen if i release it? All players will stole Planets each other.
This is the only reason i don't releas it clear.
if i find a way to avoid this, i promise to release it in clear.

Edit 2 : GPL licence can be added to this too. I can just add to the files and of course i can say the name of all.

Edit 3 : I add.... also...think about it...also the framework plugin is changed, cause are 6 years nobody (except Slig) understood how to fix it to speed up. But FAST use a completely different way, and xaseco use the aseco way... Aseco way was bugged. Nobody used it for years, the workflow was clean, i token the workflow.
Example :
If i open the car with the door, i don't get you to put GPL licence on the door, or you enter from the top???
Obvious i'm kidding, but, why all have to be always so rude to me??
Today i spent 4 hours to help Fighter to use it, and is for free.
This night i spent 6 hours to upgrade the linux of Let's Rock server, and finally he didn't use TPS. And is for free.
Let's Rock Thunder asked me Planets, i gave. Fighter needed 10000P to do a 60k, i gave.
I don't deserve this all the time.

Not quite. For those who forgot or aren't aware, Gekko is also someone who deleted all of the posts in the previous TPS GAseco forum one night, and kept deleting new posts (especially those asking for the source) until his moderator rights to that forum were revoked.
