[Fixed]Another minor wood sliding bug

Post by steeffeen »

related to this: http://forum.maniaplanet.com/viewtopic. ... 06&t=26461
but it seems not to be exactly the same, so i opened a new thread

right after the lowest point of the slide there is some sort of edge that the player passes, the camera jumps somehow
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yI_3nmINy9o
(i would have liked to make a slow-mo of the glitch but i'm not good at this, i can make a replay but it seems to happen every time you slide there so i hope you're able to reproduce it yourself)

the map is Royal - Toboggan (nadeolive)

Is this related to this bug report? Or something else ? If so please post your report in this thread, I'll check it out.
    thank you :)
The collision of the blocks 8-2-1 and 8-2-2 as well as 8-2-5 and 8-2-6 is bumpy now.
I have made a shitty extra low quality video for you to check out if you want: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gv08cXT ... e=youtu.be
The last one (8-2-1 and 8-2-2) is hard to tell, and I've tried 50 times before being sure, but that's because the block behind is going up so you land again very quickly. However it is not less destructive.

I have seen the same problems on other maps, so to me it seems to be consistent. Basically the same as the one in Steffen's video.

I have also proof that those problems have not existed Pre-MP3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=THIPUvCgvzI
(the second track... oh this MP2-texture goodness *_*)

I think I have fixed all of these and others I discovered, but the story of these blocks is long and complicated and maybe I missed other things or created some more while cleaning this for the last update, there are a lot of blocks and combinations.
If you encounter other problems, post them here.
If you can confirm it's cleaned, I'll be glad to hear it also :)

Its not fixed at all :/
Its worse. Its BumpMania now if you take a slide.

Just play Tilt Pro on SSM Matchmaking and you will see what I mean.

maybe he was on a old server, so the client would have different evaluation and combine the bumps of the server with the difficulty to be replaced by it in addition.
