how to turn the lamp? Cuz by default its shining upwards. I'd like to use the lamp on a ceiling shining on the floor underneath it.

So we have normal arrow keys and numpad + - to rotate the item, plus numpad / to reset it's position.
I'm wondering if a less coarse rotation (smaller steps) is possible?

Some items, e.g. the gold and blue crystals that were introduced with Platform title cannot be rotated with the cursors.
How was this lock achieved?

As far as i know its not possible to have smaller rotation steps.
numpad + / - are smaller rotation steps for normal right click rotation.
arrow keys are same roatation steps as numpad for other axes.

When importing a item you can disable arrow keys rotation with "OneAxisRotation" parameter. (see end of page http://doc.maniaplanet.com/creation/imp ... _item.html)

depending what object your using, yet can take a little more discernment.. meaning time for an accurate placement.

Is flipping the object sideways and angle it back down. :)

i guess you can prevent that behavior by pressing F4 twice (that the object symbol is "grayed out" / whitish), this will disable the snapping

but indeed it´s maybe sometimes hard to place something on a ceiling :roflol:

could you reduce the light of the lamps? Is it me or are they extremely bright? Ive put them in a "house" and everything outside is lid up too. It's simply too bright/strong.

Maybe -50% versions would be nice too.
