Rules:
- Grab the ball and get it to the enemy goalpost to score.
- Once you have the ball, shoot a player to pass (might be a good idea to not pass to enemies).
- If the ball bearer dies, the ball will drop at his position. It can be reacquired by any player on any team for 5 seconds before it resets to its default location.
- If neither team manages to score until time runs out, overtime kicks in and the team that holds the ball or caps during 45 seconds wins. Captures during OT are instant.

A SpeedBall mapping guide by Zanarias, a friend of mine that helped me in making the mode.
Make us some great maps!

Additional info:
- Best suited for small teams: 2v2, 3v3, 4v4. Bigger teams make a mess.
- Passing the ball to the enemy, killing him and picking it back up is a totally legit tactic.
- Grabbing the ball and jumping into the offzone for a reset is a totally legit tactic.
- Suiciding to get back to base faster instead of chasing the ball carrier is perfectly fine.

Updated the script a bit, redownload please.

Changes:
default timelimit 120 -> 180
now overtime forces respawns

Would be great if you could adjust it to the bombing run mode of UT.

About the legal tactics: What about, shooting the ball up in the air, eliminating the people and catching it again? Does the ball comes down again if you shoot it up straight?

Very nice and fun mode...

But i I think we shouldn't be able to mark the point if there are ennemi(s) on the pole...
or increase the capture time

Tcq : As you have the ball, you keep it until you touch an ally or enemy... you can't throw the ball on the ground or in the air... and no physic on rocket

I can't change behaviour of weapons so it's not actually a ball, it's just when you shoot someone when you have the ball - you pass it, even if you are standing on the railgun platfrom (we call it "laser pass").

Unlike regular point capture, when you step off - the cap just resets instead of slowly reversing. Instead of standing on it to block, try shooting the pad itself to knock the capper off.

Also you pass by shooting ally/enemy, not touching.
