Capture the Flag

I've made capture the flag back in Alpha, and since several people want it, here it is =P. It's pretty much a severe edited battle script tho, with some ugly flaws (hooray for server-sided countdowns being sent to the client every second!).
Anyway, it works :yes: .. with some uberawesome sexy ascii flag.

The rules explain the game somewhat:
- There are two teams, every team owns one pole
- The goal is to run to the pole of the other team, so stealing their flag
- Once you've stolen their flag, you have to bring it to your own pole to secure it
- Once you've secured a flag, you win the round.
- If you get killed while holding the flag, the flag drops on the ground. Your own team can pick the flag up and attempt to secure it anyway. If you pick your own team's flag up, you should return it to your own pole
- You can not steal another teams flag if your own flag isn't at your own pole.

Use BattleArena maps in this gamemode with just two poles (and two spawns).
Pole 1 belongs to team 1's spawn (and is nearest to team 1), same for team 2.
I recommend you to play this with bigger teams. 1v1 is pretty much "rush to the flag and back faster then the other one".

If there's any bug, feel free to tell me, same for suggestions.

Your rules don't match what is usually done in CTF. :?

The flag is automatically returned to the base. You don't have to go back.

Usually you have to bring it back yourself.
After having played the earlier version of CTF in Alpha, we've came to the conclusion that just one team with the flag is the best way as it became a huge mess without that restriction (just rushing), removing the idea behind the game.

Nametag, a skin/highlight isn't noticeable at all, and a skin has to download first which is often disabled anyway.

In Quake and Unreal Tournament, you don't have to return the flag.
Your gamemode is closer to "One Flag Capture the Flag" than regular "Capture The Flag".

I'd like to see regular CTF too, if you let us, anyone can edit the script with that simple modification:

-You only score the round if you have both flags at your flagstand.
-Flags can be picked up any time

That way, if you want to capture the flag and yours is stolen you enter a standoff situation. This way it also allows for strategic separation between Offence and Defence. Maybe having rounds won by capturing the flag more than one time (like 3, or even 5) to further encourage people assuming defensive positions and sticking to them (as way to prevent chain grabs).

If you do that, you should modify to automatically return one's flag when one picks it up. I think that's the "usual CTF" too. :)

Only know it the way it's implemented now :) Both versions have their pro and cons.

Good job Yoshi for your mod. You are a creator. Rename it because it's an injure to the CTF mod. Thanks and have fun on your mod with.. no one ?
