you did not read or did not understand, or I did not express clearly enough.
There are so many players playing and rapidly increasing with their ladder points that it takes some time until they all reach their real level.
The ladder will be more stable then, but it might take a few weeks or months for the self-regulation.
It also depends on the number of players in your zone, how good you are yourself, and how much you are playing.
Please also allow Nadeo to monitor this and take the appropriate measures wisely.
If they would change the calculations methods all the time, the ladder would not be reliable at all.

what did you not understand?
Or where is your problem?
Or where is your problem?
Re: Ladder points and progression modification
TMarc the problem is that YOU don't understand the issue
the ladder points of the players are only increasing.. there is no real stabilizing with the time... the only stable state that may be reached is when all players are at the max amount of points

I recommend you read the thread about Planets and the first few postings of Hylis in the present topic
The points will stabilize, but you have to wait some time.

Re: Ladder points and progression modification
The handling of the LPs was fine before release, it still rewarded players for how much they play instead of their skill, but the amount of LP was fine and the ladder was pretty much stable.TMarc wrote:what did you not understand?

Me and many other players played everynight for months to get in the top 100, and now we're ranked around 300 in less then 2 days.
Today i saw a guy who got 1100+ LP in a single map...
Stabilize this ^

Re: Ladder points and progression modification
you are simply not alone anymore, since the public release of ShootMania, many players have arrived,
and some apparently don't do anything else than playing all the time.
Take it as what it is: a game, a challenge. Fight to still be good - or better than all the others, and your ranking will improve as well again.
But if you give up, your rank will decrease and decrease more and more.

Sure... it's "new players"... not the wrong ammount of LP, of course!TMarc wrote:you are simply not alone anymore, since the public release of ShootMania, many players have arrived.
And don't get me wrong: i don't give up on the game, i give up reasoning with you, cause you just live in your own little dream-world and no evidence can actually bring you down from up the clouds.
No offences, cheers!
Re: Ladder points and progression modification
Funny that always only the stubborn people say such things... like give up reasoning, or not accepting at all others opinions. So please don't come with "no offences" now
You don't accept what I'm writing, then please wait for a official reasoning
We are not on a cloud, we are on ManiaPlanet btw.
