To Apply for a Royal 0/100k server

You can send me a private message through the forum or email at: alinoa@nadeo.com.

To be added on the waiting list, you have to send me this information:

• Your ManiaPlanet login
• The server ManiaPlanet login
• The mail of the admin of the server
• A link to a mappack of the tracks to be validated (14 tracks maximum)

You’ll receive an email or private message to confirm your insertion on the waiting list or asking you more information.

Please read the rules to follow for running a 0/100k Royal server:

The common rules are pretty simple:

• Servers must be validated by Nadeo
• 0-100000 ladder points
• Game Mods accepted: Royal
• Maximum 12 players
• rule test: points limit is linked to the following formula: (number players on the server * 10) + 30 = points limit
  For 12 players, the limits point is (12*10) + 30 = 150 points.
• The server must be public (no password)
• No lol map and the maps number must be <= 14
• There must be no guestlist
• Mixmaps and customized tracks (with custom blocks) are not authorized
• Ban players is not authorized (except for legal reasons, i.e : incitement to racial hatred, sexual content, etc.).

Every admin who doesn't respect the rules can lose the authorization to run a 0/100k Storm servers and may lose it permanently.

Maybe it is time for an overhaul of the 100K restrictions ?
We have a 90K Elite and 90K Royal server. On Royal most players are 90K and cannot progress any more. I would like to make the server a 100K, but there are a couple of things that keep me from doing so. Here a my thoughts..

- A 100K server means there are a lot of good/experienced players so newbies joining won't progress faster because it's 100K, if anything, they need to work harder So I'm not afraid of abuse.

- Number of players is fine, although 15 would be nicer.

- There still should be a dynamic point limit, with a minimum of 70. And with 15 players the max point limit would be 150 with the current +10 per player. Perhaps make it +12 for each player so the max point limit is 180 with 15 players.

- I don't see the benefit of having a fixed map list. There should be no restrictions there.

- Standard built maps should be included, no racing or team.

- all the other rules are fine by me.

I wouldn't start this topic if we are not on the 90K ladder limit currently.

Dynamic point limit is good but a pointlimit of 180 for 15 players is quite unreasonable if you have players that get hit/srv points of 55 in 4 rounds. Then its over. So it might be better to also add a extra round if possible. or a higher limit.

Well it should not be much higher (currently for 100K it's 150 for 12 players). Perhaps a count of 14 ? Making it 210 ?

The point limit is already dynamic, we had edited the Royal rules but didn't update this thread.
For the pack, having a number of limited maps make 100k servers more competitive because players can master them and improve their skill and their strategy.
