maybe it would be more usefull to have the master excluded from public serving so we can reduce the poll rate of the slaves so the files are faster synced on all mirrors?

Hier mal static.undef.name + maniacdn kombiniert.

Not going to happen for my mirror. Patience, grasshopper.

And no German please, English is the language to use in all forums outside the Languages section.

10 minutes is not the problem for my master. It's more the mirrors as xymph said.

He talked German because I haven't understood him. He said we could change the rsync cron to 10 min and disable my server as a mirror.

How often hosters refresh depends on their own abilities and opinion. Minimum is 6 hours. This way we can also spread the refresh times, too, so it is 20 servers at once.

I hope you understood, I'm drunken. If you've further suggestions or questions just ask me :)

Hmm , my download link seems to be messed up.
Don't know how but when I want to download my MOD I end up on a canyon clan site. ( Spam ? )

This : http://maniacdn.net/truffeltje/funderr.zip results in this : http://www.scottishflattrax.co.uk/404

That's correct. As you can see on the about pages (https://about.maniacdn.net) there is one mirror thats not up-to-date or having wrong configuration. Mirrors that fail are being removed from the DNS within 15 minutes, but this is not always directly. It depends on several factors on how long it will take, the TTL of the DNS (time to live) is as low as possible (considering the costs) so it should not take too long.

Try to open the link in another browser may help for now.
For me the link is working but thats of course due to the randomness of the Europe servers.

EDIT: Seems that the one with troubles wasn't the one you got, did you wait for at least 6 hours?
EDIT2: I just disabled the mirror with the 404 redirection and asked for removal of the redirection.
