Fullscreen doesn't work, goes back to windowed full

Every time I try setting the graphic setting to be fullscreen, it forces itself to windowed full. I need fullscreen mode to do a few tests, but it's just not wanting to do that for me.

I tried changing it in the launcher already as well, which only puts it in windowed full mode. Changing it in the top right -> graphics options also puts it into windowed full. Alt+Enter does nothing. F11 toggles between windowed and windowed full, but not real fullscreen.

This is on Windows 7, GTX 1070, 144hz 2560x1080 (21:9) monitor. (There's a second monitor also connected.)

Is this something I can avoid?

If I have the game open on my game monitor ( fullscreen ) and go with my mouse to my second monitor and klick on it, the game also goes to window.

Did you try deleting the file Default.SystemConfig.gbx in the Maniaplanet config folder?
Sometimes settings are like stuck.
Alao check the desktop icon properties if fullscreen or window is set there.

Thanks, that kinda worked. Now it goes to fullscreen when I start it from the launcher.

I've also figured out that attaching a debugger forces the game into windowed fullscreen mode (which is kind of a useful developer feature, but not something I need for this test..) Thanks for the help!
