Track editor is unsable *problem*

Post by sharky23 »

Hello internet, i have been playing Trackmania2 Stadium for a while now, i recently bought a new pc and i started having a problem right away, i went to the track editor and as soon as i go near the block editor, the whole game starts to freeze, and cannot even place a block. I am getting desperate.
The rest of the game works fine, no lag at all.
If someone could help me,i would be very happy :D

Does the entire game freeze? Or is it just FPS loss?

If it's FPS loss, hit Ctrl+F7 and take a screenshot of that when you have massive FPS loss. That should probably show what's going on.

If it freezes indefinitely, use this: http://files.v04.maniaplanet.com/setups ... etLogs.zip
It will generate some logs, post them when the game freezes.

Hi sharky

libwebp.dll is a Maniaplanet system file, so obviously essential and there may other files missing/ corrupted, such as libwebp_a.dll.

You could try this:

1. Uninstall Maniaplanet
2. Delete C:\Program Files(x86)]Maniaplanet folder (if it is still there)
3. If there is also a folder - C:\ProgramData\Maniaplanet - delete that also. The ProgramData folder may be hidden so don't worry if you cannot see it
4. Ensure all antivirus programs are turned off/ disabled

5. Reinstall Maniaplanet.

* Of course, you can enable antivirus once the game is working ok.

Good luck. ;) ..... :pil
