1.Conditions
No mather how many players are there, or do i play in multyplayer or single, when the rocket hit the wall close
to my player, that particles effect from rocket explosion is causing huge frame drop that lasts as long as the explosion effect is visible.

2.PC Config

3.Game Config
Fast (all default).
Resolution at 1360x768(16:9).

Just to add some interesting findings, and this seems to be good section for it, I'm not sure if developers are aware of this.

1.Conditions
When refresh rate is above 100Hz, and target FPS is the same (as minimum), but drops to say 75-80FPS (on large area view). Disabling "Enable Multi-Threads" makes game a bit smoother in those situations, same is the case from TMF and all games in Maniaplanet (connected with core game engine). Game do not seem very smooth below 60FPS (compared to other games), and in some cases even at 75-80FPS (but those words are from perfectionist).

2.PC Config
Any PC i tested on. Athlon 2 x2, x4, unganged IMC, FX CPU's.
nVidia, AMD/ATI GPU's, do not matter.

3.Game Config
all game settings (mostly high/nice, very high/nice) when target FPS is above 100FPS. All situations with GPU/CPU sync,

Other than that, with properly configured system, even low end systems that can achieve desired target frame rate, have no significant problem with performance (compared to Trackmania).

EDIT: There is no performance difference with using Multi-Threads option vs. not using it. It is same, only smoother without it. But not using multi-threads can cause lag, go figure :)

Hello,

1. I purchased SM day of launch and have been experiencing immense latency issues. My Ping and SnapShotDeltaTime are consistently in the thousands regardless of server choice or server location. At best, my gameplay experience is smooth with extremely frequent lag spikes that bring my ping to 600+ and makes the game completely unplayable. The number of players doesn't seem to play a role, simply trying to connect to a server gives the aforementioned results. Typically, I join a game of around 10 players.
Example: Image

2. My computer specifications are as follows.
Windows XP
2GB of DDR2 RAM
1GB Nvidia Graphics card
3.4 GHz processor speed
250 Hard Drive with Approximately 85 Gigs of free space.
My internet speed http://www.speedtest.net/result/2640072628.png

3. My settings are set to “Very Fast.” I do not believe this is an issue with my computer, because I can run SM without any lag in a private mach and in Editor Mode. I also have an exception made for SM in my Firewall. I am located in central USA if that might make any difference.

4. I'm not entirely sure how to view the Tcpu, however, when my game is running I typically get between 30-50 FPS. I will post a picture of the entire ping spreadsheet that you get by double tapping – and I will add the Tcpu once I can find it.

Thank you very much for taking the time to look into my problem. If there is a better place to direct my issue then please let me know. Thanks again.

It will help us to see if it is a CPU issue or GPU one.
Pressing CTRL + F11 3 times isn't doing anything for me. Would like to see this game run better, how do I use this command?

I also tested the command Pressing CTRL + F11 and nothing happens. Maybe it's broken.
However you can display your framerate, audio, ping and snapshotdelta time by pressing the key next to the "0" on the main keyboard, twice, to bring up the analyser.

Bizarre.
