TMUF on windows 8

I have a 32bit, but it should run regardless on my Windows 8 pc. MY TrackmaniaUnited Forever boots up. loads my profile but freezes when loading my skins. Why is that?

Unsupported OS????? No way.....

I am on Win8 Pro and both TMU and TM2 runs without any problems without compatibility mode for 7, vista or any older OS.

For the OP, i would check that all drivers are latest and that all programs/patches are installed correctly. Maybe even do a re-install of the game.

You say that it chrashes when you load your skins? What do you mean by that? Can you play using the standard skins? Corrupt folder for you custom skins perhaps?

Also check that your hardware matches the requirements.

Have you upgraded from XP/Vista/7 to Win8? If yes maybe you need to reinstall TMUF in that case, there is some weird behaviour from several softwares interacting with the OS with an upgrade :/

Alright, I think it was the harddrive. I have the tmu disk so I get the upgrade to forever install. SO I will get a replacement PC for my computer that has windows 8 and its not an upgrade. Ill send a message if it works or not.

OK not working I'll try to uninstall and reinstall and my old XP game works!
