TMUnited VS TMUnitedForever?

Dear Reader,

i am a grandfather of a boy of 6 years old.
He does play all three programs below very good!
But i did see it come to a mess.
And indeed to day it was a mess.
So i decided to install the prgrs again on a fresh OS windows 7 32bit.
( before it was also)

First i installed tm_NATIONS_forever_2.11.26nl.and played a little.
Looks good.
Then i installed TrackMania� Canyon and played a little bit.
Looks good.

Then i installed TmUnitedForever_Setup.exe.
Played it a while , but it is not good.
It looks like NATIONS_forever. It is blue and in the evening pink, but
i do miss the nice cars and other things mentioned in the manual.
What did i wrong ?

when i choose profile, i see that the version is UNITED and the account
type Nations.?

have you bought TMUF? and where from did you get its installation file?

Most probably you are using the TMNF (Nations Forever) account to connect with TMUF (United), which is possible, since it contains exactly the same game.

Ypou have two possibilities:
1. convert the account to a united account
To do so, please start first Nations, then go to the player profile settings, and there chose the option to add a key.
Then close Nations, and start United. Check there that the profile really has been migrated to a United account.

At the end please also check the player page

2. Or if you don't care of the old records, you can use the new United key to create a new United account.

So, when you start United, select to create a new account with new player profile,
and then all missing game parts should be there.

have you bought TMUF? and where from did you get its installation file?

Indeed, i have bought it for my grandson!
The download url was in the e-mail or page i got.
But i haven't the e-mail and url.

I will try this option in the evening. ( on this moment the computer is rendering a video-project)

i have solved the problem on this way.,
i make use of First defence ISR.
(I can have 10 different OS on my computer)
So i copied the basic windows 7 32bit (wich is resident on my system)
to the more or less corrupted OS with the games i mentioned.
Then i installed the United again.
Then i discovered the result is the same. Again behaviour of it is NATIONS.
Then after some mis-manipulation i did un-couple the account.
Then i could make a new account, with the right loginname and password.
So it work nice now as UNITED.
In the past i did not realize that UNITED is NATIONS, but much better.
So it playes well now.
I have seen, i can switch to nations and it is not necessarily to install the old NATIONS.
The only thing i haVE TO DO NOW, IS INSTALLING cANYON.
My grandson can play now, so long it takes.
