It's too late for Day One, remember that the game release next week, there isn't the time to implement it and to have it ready for the launch (or even shortly after).
I do hope it makes it into the game eventually! It would be amazing and easy to market too.
Now that the game is ready, could you give us the answer to the following question:
How is the user interface in the map editor when using a mouse and a keyboard?
Have the big wheels (http://static9.cdn.ubi.com/resource/en- ... 239180.jpg) been replaced by something usable with a mouse and a keyboard?
Q: Will the open beta on PS4/X1 be available on PC?
A: Unfortunately, no. We wish it could have been, in some ways, but there are reasons why it's not. First of them is the difference of the PC environment to make for us and timing. We are still working on the PC version which is equivalent to the console one with additional works, such as bindings, configs, input management and even map&replay classic editor compatibility work \o/ Another reason is also that Trackmania Turbo, as our first console game, is a good addition to the reach of the game, and for players with a PS4 & X1, that's really an invitation to test it on these platforms. Many people that are used to TM on PC and with a console may have missed the occasion. I don't say that this reason would have made us 'not to do it' anyway, but I find it as an opportunity. And finally, it's logical that PC player see this as opportunity to test the game, and we are working on this as well at the moment to make this possible asap.
Yeah. But it also looks like the PC version will not be ready next week?
If there is still some/lot of (?) work to do, there will be not yet DVDs...
A download version could be possible
