This is mainly console game, so, i think answer is NO

1) Turbo is released on consoles
2) People watching about ManiaPlanet
3) They see custom skins, texture-packs, gamemodes, objects...
4) NADEO buys a Eiffel tower for MP promote

Dommy, you can be lucky that there won't be any maniascript in Turbo. Otherwise, your creations in MP would be less played because TMT would offer too much and people would mainly play Turbo then (in theory) :thumbsup:

To be honest i would have more players in Turbo than ManiaPlanet if we could do some mods. :roflol:

I think it has been said in the "Hello Planet #4" topic or blog post that TrackMania Turbo interface and gamemodes are made with ManiaScript and Manialinks but we'll not be able to create our own gamemodes on it.

What Hypercycle and Soprah say is even right, Turbo can be just one huge ManiaPlanet advertisement. People would move there as they would see a lot of possibilities Turbo doesn't offer. Even Cerovan said they're planning to give MP environments for free if you purchase Turbo.

The only 2 opportuinities Nadeo must pass are:
- Advertise ManiaPlanet inside Turbo to let players know about such thing.
- Improve ManiaPlanet navigation and designs to make it look less like a shit as it is now.

That is the part that looses me. MP interface is terrible, TMF was nicer, MP has gone backwards on the subject. I play the game because well I like it, it is a fantastic game that offers a lot. If I don't care much about customization (an really 90% of the players doesen't) TMT sounds like the perfect TM. From that point on why MP ?
Ok customization, but new players won't notice what they will notice is the interface that requires a hundred clicks to open a server. They will feel like it is a downgrade from TMT, and ... They won't see the awsome title packs, they won't see the awsome new blocks, mods, server interfaces.

I don't know even why I am writing this, has been written thousands of times. Maybe this time it will cause a memory oveflow and crash everything. :)

Just out of interest. Can anyone of Nadeo tell me if they played upside down lagoon maps with the MMOne? If yes, how does it feel? :shock:
