Hello again!
This time I bring you the new manialink for ShootMania, on which you can browse a list of approved game modes, sorted by amount of players playing them. Clicking a game mode will search and head you directly to the best server found for selected game mode!
To access the manialink, write quickjoin in the ManiaPlanet address bar. To directly join a game mode through a link, just use (for example) quickjoin?joust.
Server selection works this way:
- Looking for the most populated, but not full non-matchmaking server running the game mode.
- If no server is found, most populated matchmaking server is selected.
- If there is no matchmaking server with players, an empty, non-matchmaking, highest LP limit server is choosen.
- If there is no empty server, you are sent to highest ranked (possible to join) matchmaking server.
- If there still no server has been selected, it will try to head you to any, first listed server.
- If nothing has been found, there is an error message.
Manialink is automatically refreshing the modes list. Situation, where you join another mode due list refreshed right before you clicked may happen.Source code: http://dominolink.aq.pl/manialinks/quickjoin.php
