10 individual races taking place each month, where you will have to surpass yourself to become the ultimate Fun Racers Champion!

Welcome to the first edition of the Fun Racers Cup, proudly hosted by Team CSb¹!

Here's everything you need to know to get ready for the first race:

Schedule

• There will be 10 races during the year, one per month from March to December 2018
• Each race will be held on the first Thursday of each month, that means the first one will take place the 1st March, the second one the 5th April and so on until the 6th December
• Each race will start in 21:00 (CET) and should last around 90 minutes, please login 15 minutes before so we can start the race on time

Training

• Each race will be played in 7 maps, randomly picked up from the Fun Racers 90k server
• The maps are announced one week before the race, letting you enough time to train them online on our 90k server or offline, as you wish

Server

• To host the races, we set up a dedicated server named Fun Racers » Cup
• This server is password protected, hence you have to register before getting access to the server (see Registration section below)

Races

• All races will be played in the traditional Rounds mode, pretty much like you were on the 90k server
• 2 warm-up rounds are played before each map
• At each round you can earn Round Points (RP), the number of RP you earn depends on your place at the end of the round
• You can find below how RP are distributed:
  

  1st - 31 RP
  2nd - 27 RP
  3rd - 25 RP
  4th - 23 RP
  5th - 21 RP
  6th - 19 RP
  7th - 17 RP
  8th - 15 RP
  9th - 13 RP
  10th - 11 RP
  11th - 9 RP
  12th - 8 RP
  13th - 7 RP
  14th - 6 RP
  15th - 5 RP
  16th - 4 RP
  17th - 3 RP
  18th - 2 RP
  19th - 1 RP
  20th or worse - 0 RP

• A map is closed when at least one player gets a total of 149 RP or more
• Extra rounds may be played in case of a tie for the first place
• The race is finished when the 7 maps have been played

Rankings

• The total RP accumulated during a race will give you your final rank for this race
• Based on your race rank you earn Championship Points (CP), these are the same as for a Formula 1 GP:
  

  1st - 25 CP
  2nd - 18 CP
  3rd - 15 CP
  4th - 12 CP
  5th - 10 CP
  6th - 8 CP
  7th - 6 CP
  8th - 4 CP
  9th - 2 CP
  10th - 1 CP
  11th or worse - 0 CP

• These points will determine your place in the global rankings, constantly updated in our public portal
• Your 2 worst races are automatically deleted from your global score, that means you can miss at most 2 races without getting a handicap for the championship
• After the 10th and last race, the player who have the most CP is declared Grand Champion of the 1st Fun Racers Cup!

Prizes

• To make things more exciting, we will give some Planets to the most competitive players of the cup:
  

  1st - 100 000 Planets
  2nd - 50 000 Planets
  3rd - 30 000 Planets
  4th - 20 000 Planets
  5th - 10 000 Planets

• If you don't make it to the top 5, don't worry! You are guaranteed to win 2 000 Planets as long as you complete at least 5 races

Registration

• The competition is open to anyone who is ranked in the Fun Racers 90k server
• You need to register in our Discord dedicated channel simply by giving your Maniaplanet login and nickname in the "inscriptions-register" text chat
• Once registered, you will have access to the "cup_infos" text chat where important infos will be displayed (such as passwords, maps, real time results, etc.)
• Be aware that the competition is limited to 30 challengers, so register quickly before it's too late!

With a total of 1 030 RP earned Suiram takes the first provisional place of the general rankings, followed by Mebe12 and Larentz!

Larentz wins this race, taking the second place in the rankings only 3 points behind Suiram! Migsu complete the podium with 25 points.
