Welcome to the TrackMania One Photochallenge! The Photochallenge is a competition, where everyone is welcome to send us his best ingame screenshot/wallpaper of TrackMania One. You have one week time from the announcement to the deadline. The challenge will take place every two weeks (e.g. Challenge - Free - Challenge - Free) and each challenge will have its own topic. Finally, TMCharly and I will look over all results and nominate the winning wallpaper.

The prize pool is 2,5k - 5k Planets (it depends on, how many planets we have and if there are any donations)

Rules:
- The photo has to match the topic of the current challenge
- Only send one photo
- Give us your ManiaPlanet-login, so we can send the prize in case you win
- Only Discord-Users are permitted to take part
- Only use the TrackMania One titlepacks for the shots

Important for the photos:
- Try to take the shot in PNG format
- It should be at least 1080p big

If you want to take part, send your image via PM here or on discord in private chat. Discord-Link
(Btw, I strongly recommend joining the discord-server, as I can only feed a bit in the forums. You can also see previews of the next versions and we have an awesome atmosphere in both text- and voice-channels!)

The first episode of the Photochallenge starts today! The topic for this week is free, so you can take whatever you want. The deadline is December 3, 15.00, so please make sure you sent your entries before the deadline. The winning picture will be announced one day later. So let's start with the first episode! I'm looking forward to see the entries.

Best regards,
your TrackMania One Team!

We are currently about finishing the platform mode, but we ran into troubles with saving the time (yes, time, we use a completely rewritten platform mode with new rules) and uploading it to the Nadeo-cloud. Also a trailer will be done, which will take some days, so count with 1-2 weeks of development. It's a big update!

Re: TrackMania One - Version 1.24 Out Now!

Post by Florenzius »

Hey there! Today it's the first Patchday for TrackMania One! From the release of Alpine to now we worked on a lot cool things!
Script version: 1.24 / Pack version: 1.24

We also got an all new logo and style for the project, check it out!

Image
  • Reimplementation of the scoreboard/records overview
  • Performance improvements
  • SP should now work without problems again
  • Changes of the ingame-newsfeed (Added scrolling)
  • Implemented Platform-features, mode not available yet
  • Menu style improvements
Image
  • Fix for the car-skin (not random anymore)
  • Tube-Checkpoints are fully magnetic now
  • Updated Sign-Textures
  • Improved Pillars
  • Added super-duper-cool christmas-trees
  • Updated blocks with wrong gridsnap
Sadly this update doesn't contain the platform mode yet, but we are currently working hard on campaign and platform updates. We also got a new scripter, Nerpson, after Guerro stopped working on ManiaPlanet.
Welcome him and let's have a good time with the maniascript-expert! :D

The next version will also have almost all campaign maps in a new version. Smoother and more fun at driving! Thanks to MrLag, who took the time and edited the maps! (records will be gone)

The update is now available ingame! The next update will contain the Platform-campaign and -editor, so stay tuned and see you online!

Nice update, but the main problem is not solved. Miserable sight forward, because the car is too big. :(

Yo, thanks.

We can't solve this problem probably. Maybe in MP5 or a further update there will be an option to make the car and hitbox smaller, but currently we have to fit it to the hitbox of valley.

Speed won't have this issue, time to look forward

Yes thats right, the hitbox can you not change. But the 3d-Model btw. the Item can you make not so high for better sight forward. The hitbox is then greater than the 3d-Model btw. the Item. Where is the Problem when you make the Item smaller ( half high or so ) ?
