Maniaplanet will not start after upgrading fro RP to PRO.
My racing game Maniaplanet worked fine with the release preview of Windows 8. But now after the updrade to Windows 8 Pro, it doesn't even start. What might be the problem? I am using the integrated
game refuses to update to 1.3e.. windows 8?

it must be something to do with updater.exe because it doesnt even appear... i tried opening te updater.exe and it doesnt even appear, the process appears for about a milisecond, event log says nothing and icant find an error log...

Did this get resolved? It concerns me since I've been thinking of updating to Win8.

Did you reinstall the game after doing the upgrade of Windows?
Perhaps some registry settings are missing, which got deleted or were not properly imported during the upgrade.
