perfect! I agree to see if filled MM would prevent you to have players.

But until then, try to look at how to host a lobby, you will see how it is easy. And I don't say it's better to have a lobby, I am just saying that we are making it easier to have balanced match thanks to matchmaking.

Hylis, even in the height of this demo, only one server can be full in a day in battle, its between me, search, franck, how exactly can matchmaking help us not to fight each other?

I know exactly how to host a lobby, I do it for MX MapsOfTheWeek for Elite, and that is empty mostly too.

So pls don't talk to me about what I do. I do a lot.

thanks for this, it's so rare to read this ^_^ that it will me make ok to finally go :roflol:

and my last post for the night: I think that if some battle players can make matchmaking in 5vs5, that the mode is more likely to grow and so have more players to go on /32 servers to enjoy big battles like the 22 are doing atm on your server. So, either 5vs5 is fun and will make the audience grow, either it's not. But if there are more players staying, then it's better. In fact, I even think that on the long run, a good battle matchmaking is potentially one of the best thing that can happen to the mode and the "big fun servers" the real #1 challenge is always to provide long time to play. 80%+ of players online are the ones with 100+ hours of players. this is what I try to bring you. but Tech servers are not against Lol maps servers ^_^

I reread it all this morning, and I still agree with myself ;)

Stupidly oversized battle servers, with 10+ players per team, are insane and crazy, they represent something in Shootmania that is lacking sometimes in more focused modes, its just fun.

FUN! ... Its the same reason stupidly oversized TM servers are popular.

Why try to make something competitive when there is no need? We already have competitive mode like elite/siege, or whatever other there is to pick. Battle being distributed via a lobby so that there is smaller matches does not sound like so much fun. 5v5 can be okay, but 16v16 is insanely awesome.

So I like the fact that battle is not controlled by match making, its good as it is.
Silly. Crazy. Overloaded. Stupid. Fun. :thumbsup:

We need more players, not matchmaking, the mode is great already and it probably gets most awesome at 10v10... If you can find 1000 simultaneous battle players (rather than less than 100 as we see now) then matchmaking 10v10 is plausible.... until then, no need.

Agree with MrA , Battle is a mode where you can play and go , just play 5 mn or 1 hour or better :mrgreen: .The match is too long for MM , Elite match is 10 15 mn , battle match is often 30 mn, too long.

Nadeo sell his soul to SSM : I don't think so MrA :roflol:
