Is it just me, or is putting the main menu stations in the right order a complete disaster?
For example, look at this image. I was trying to put all the Stadium related stations below the big Stadium environment station (same thing for Canyon and Valley), but there seems to be no way of doing it without messing up the complete order of the stations. And that's caused by the fact that Maniaplanet automatically orders everything from left to right and up to down.
I don't think so, but maybe I'm just the only one who wants to put things in a simple order to easily find the station you want to load. I have also tried this on other (older) MP versions in the past, and I was hoping it would be fixed by an update later on. This is why I did not post this earlier.
Don't get me wrong, I really loved this game after all this time I played it, and I still love it! This is just a small thing I don't really like about the stations.

Re: [MP] Trying to put the stations in the right order...
I agree, it's hard to find a satisfying order for all the stations when they automatically move up to close gaps.
I'd be much better in my opinion if it was a simple grid where you can freely place the stations, just like a Windows-desktop.

Re: [MP] Trying to put the stations in the right order...
exact, it is especially a issue if you have different sizes of stations.
I use the smallest size and have no issue, but that's only a workaround.

Yeah it's too bad, having different sizes for the stations is actually a feature I like a lot, so it's especially unfortunate how hard it is to work with them.TMarc wrote:exact, it is especially a issue if you have different sizes of stations.

Yeah, with adjustable sizes of the stations you can for example make the stations you use most bigger than the stations you use less. That's what I like about it too. A simple grid with freely placing stations would be a perfect solution as UrinStein said:UrinStein wrote:Yeah it's too bad, having different sizes for the stations is actually a feature I like a lot, so it's especially unfortunate how hard it is to work with them.
