Hi,

here is my wishlist. :pop:


- fix official Titles like Platformpack and TM2 Title

- more options for channels, like Dedimania and stuff

- don't allow Demo Users to get a rank or in Dedimania

- let the players decide, to stay longer on a Channelprogramm
(make voting 5min. before the end, when enough players wants to stay, split this channel from the official ones and let it run as standalone)
(no Demo Users)

- !more advanced parameters for changing car physics viewtopic.php?f=9&t=43284

- allow this for Stadiumcar, too and pls allow EnviMix with Stadium Envi

- titles with car collisions viewforum.php?f=549

- rankinglists for each titlepack, like they existed in mp3

- something like this viewtopic.php?f=279&t=28946#p226169

- drive against PB, (like eyebo said before)

- please fix the Car Engine Sounds

- fix the bugs which stopped Spam's Weekly

- a Block for changing car viewtopic.php?f=594&t=43066
(that would allow so much more possibilities for Gamemodes)

- show the Blocknames in Editor, when you hover over them with the mouse

- let us rotate the official Blocks in all directions

- switch between simple/advanced editor, on the fly

- 64x64 or more on each Envi

- (or an idea from Demented)
let users choose between a few size "options" that don't use any more memory or blocks, such as:
Double the length and cut the height by half. Thus keeping the same amount of block spaces and memory required.

- increase the size of embeddable Items

- embeddable signs

- possibilitie to build maps with the Joypad, like in TMT, but with the advanced features from MP4

- in Mesheditor, it would be great to be able to add textures and physics separately. To add the physics people wishes for that item.
When you could add the ability to adjust these parameters, would be really great and helpfull

- one place, best where ingame, where people can view orderly all MP4 compatible, user created stuff, like EditorPlugIns, CustomBlocks, Signs, Skins, Mods, Scripts, etc, and download them automatically in the right folders

- (this idea is also from Demented, but i like it, too) :)
What might be nice is if there was a way to save and upload a map with embedded items, skins etc... then when a user downloads the map, or a website hosts maps, a subroutine checks to see if the embedded content already exists in the user's custom content folder. If so it converts the embedded content to Folder/File Links and re-saves the map, if not it extracts the content to a custom folder, then creates a link to it. When downloading maps with this type of embedded content there should be a description stating the size of the embedded content. This may be a complicated subroutine for NADEO to create but it would eliminate the need for locators or players having to find and download custom content and should help keep map file sizes to a minimum.

An idea I just got that should be hopefully easy to implement. Might improve the looks of a map a lot.

- When blockmixing, sometimes you will end up with two surfaces overlapping each other. What if you could prioritize one surface above the other? So e.g. instead of flickering, the surface with the highest priority will shine through.
- Priority can be exchanged with "which surface was placed first"
- Or generally prioritize blocks with normals in Y direction (Grass, Road, ...)
- If blocks are overlapping like in the example picture, prioritize the block that has been placed first.

Hello!

I would love to see split-screen come back as a local mode in the normal standalone titles like Canyon, Stadium etc.

Also. if possible, it would be awesome to have collision for local play too. I'm currently split between Trackmania 2 and Turbo for either the better map making tools or collision and split-screen to play my maps with friends. Trackmania 2 would be perfect for me if it had both of these things.

wishes:
  • Custom Trigger (start/cp/finish/multilap) and Auto-Rotate option in Item Editor
  • Blank environment (only sky, 256x256x256)
  • 100% custom vehicles and characters (even hitbox, scripting, etc)
  • Custom Materials from Mod (great for RPG titlepack)
  • Mixed Vehicles in Stadium
  • Advert in Item
  • Decals maybe?
  • Feature similar to an item but it's an outline and you place two and create a bezier curve with the outline (i hope i explained it good)
  • Clone default material settings into a custom material
  • Changelogs for titlepack updates
  • Downloading updates for titlepacks/environments while playing something else offline
issues:
  • Stadium Start/CP/Finish/Multilap blocks have the sign's UV broken when converted to an item
  • Custom Vehicles don't have a set texture unless you have a custom horn set

Added to my list: Byte counter for map items. I've heard many other people say they want that too.

Nadeo has nothing to do with any server controller, XAseco2 or otherwise. And X2 updates won't happen anymore.
