car acts differently in Official-Mode

Hi,

I was trying to improve on track A01 when I realized that the car seemed to act differently in the "official mode".

I confirmed it by simply accelerating.
In training-mode the car always drifts slightly to the right;
in official-mode it either drifts to the left or an extra amount to the right

I restarted the game and tried it again.
At the first run, the effect did not show.
But later it did, consistantly.

Is this supposed to happen. Or is it a bug?

This is probably a issue with your gamepad, if you're using one. When I drive with my gamepad I also experience small steering even the joystick is in neutral state.

set a 5-10% deathzone... my logitech gamepad has an extreme sensitivity to any movement and even in idle center it keeps a minimal steering.

If you have a logitech pad use the given software and check calibration and X left stick axis' deathzone

Either it's the gamepad issue as mentioned above, or it's the effect of the "validation seed" which comes into play during official runs (originally meant to prevent press forward maps to work on ranked servers).

I do not use a gamepad, just keyboard.
So the "validation seed" seems to be the correct answer to my problem.

if youre keyboard is mechanic, you can lift off the keys, clean the connectors (where key goes) and replug keyboard. Also, try with another keyboard and see the differences.
