Graphical problems

Greetings,

With the new MP4, I've been having a lot of issues with resolution/graphics. No matter how I set my settings, the game just looks crappy and ''unfinished''.
I tried everything and nothing seems to work. It doesn't make me want to play the game anymore. Thanks for your help

you need to post screens or anything more detailed. Noone can help you otherwise.

Just an idea. I know that if I set the resolution to 1080p instead of 1440p, it looks ugly/blury. Maybe your resolution is not set correctly ?

Like killaprodtm said, posting screenshots could help what you man by "crappy" ?
Do you have the issue in windowed modes ? (windowed full or windowed, press F11)

You can also run this version (in you're MP4 install folder)

and send us back the log after seeing the issue and quitting the game.

If you have difficulties watching screenshots, just double-click one of them and then use left-right arrows on your keyboard to switch between images.

I don't mean to be rude or anything. I really appreciate improved CPU load distribution, shadow computation and map loading times, but according to my taste, on a calibrated to sRGB color space, decent IPS panel, Stadium in ManiaPlanet 3 looks a lot better than in ManiaPlanet 4. I was waiting for the game to move from DX9 to DX11, but I didn't expect that this will make the graphics flat, cartoony and childish. I can't stand this new TrackMania Turbo-like glossy track surface. I loved how the sunset mode looked in MP3, but in MP4 it's so ugly...
