Skidmarks staying on the track

Hello,

Since MP4 is out, skidmarks from our previous runs stay on the track regardless of the mode used (TA, rounds or team) and that is pretty annoying for most fullspeed players as we can't see properly if we're "SDing" well or not. Though I noticed this wasn't the case when I used the controller eXpansion in rounds/team, however this one has not been updated to Mp4 yet so it's pretty messy. Anyway, this means that there may be a solution to fix this one way or another on any other controller (most servers including mine are using ManiaControl now), so if anyone has any idea I'd be so pleased!

As someone who is still struggling to get better at speeddrifts, skidmarks not disappearing makes it way harder. Since non-disappearing skidmarks can be kinda helpful while building tracks an option to toggle between "keep all skidmarks" and "just show the current run" would be great!

The opposite of this is marks on grass in lagoon and valley that dont disappear is a very nice and useful effect. I like it

Being able to see my skids while driving really helps and it's hard to see them with skidmarks still on the track.

I'm glad that someone made this thread. Also I would make the walls and loops less transparent in Stadium, because it's hard to judge where they start and end.

Please make this as an option. I mean this may be really annoying in FS whereas it reveals to be handy in Tech to judge how good is your actual turn.
So don't delete it, just make it optionnal please :)

I think Optional is always best when possible. I like the skidmarks to build up but can understand why some don't.
A setting option with [On - Off - Fade] might be nice. (Fade would lay down skid marks but they would fade away after a certain amount of time).
