So I've been having this problem ever since the last Windows update.
The game runs correctly, and etc. However, there is one problem. I have the Steam version of the game, so I've downloaded maps on the workshop. However, every single map has problems. Maps have either bugged textures or missing track parts, sometimes both.
Would've helped if this forum could allow me to post links or images that shows how the problem looks like in-game...
The built-in tracks have no issues.
The only way to fix this issue is going into the track editor, load the track, and verify it, and it fixes it. However, I shouldn't have to do this.
I've tried a lot of things, and it didnt work, such as:
Verifying Windows 10's file integrity
Verifying for disk errors
Re-installing my graphics driver
Verifying game integrity (it just verify the integrity of the ManiaPlanet launcher on Steam)
Deleting the ManiaPlanet content in ProgramData
Re-Installing the game
Re-downloading all my downloaded maps...
etc...
None of it worked.
I had no problems one month ago.
My specs: Windows 10, 16GB RAM, Intel Core i3-4179 3.70GHz, Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti (MSI)
Is anyone able to help me solve this problem? Thank you.

Hi CarBitGTSaxen »
Have you tried downloading any maps from MX, just to compare? https://tm.mania-exchange.com/home/index. Look for recent maps (although pretty much all maps on MX have been updated by the genius MX Admin team).
My guess is the maps you've downloaded from Steam workshop were made before July/ August 2017, so were not up-to-date with the 'big TM4 update'. I think this is the case, as you are able to correct them by computing shadows in the editor, which is the usual way for updating older maps anyway.
Cheers.

OOoh so it's normal due to the MP4 update?
Heck, is the Steam version even using MP4?

Correct.
Don't ask me - I've never been anywhere near Steam! Like most players, I get all my maps from MX.
Cheers

Yes it is, and unfortunately these maps aren't automatically fixed up. The community over on Mania Exchange did a great job at converting every single map for MP4, which is not really possible to do for the Steam Workshop. For that, you will need to wait for the authors of the map on the Steam Workshop to re-save and re-validate the map.CarBitGTSaxen wrote: ↑01 Mar 2018, 07:22 OOoh so it's normal due to the MP4 update?
