What's going on with the keyboard controls?

Post by incendito »

Hi,
So, having been a fan of the older trackmania titles I finally, after a long, long absence, decided do try my hands at Trackmania 2. Looks great but what on earth happened to the keyboard controls? Turning the wheel is a bit like my nan slowly feeding the wheel in tiny steps. First of all it reacts too slow, then too much and then it won't straighten out. It's pretty much unplayable. Any tips on how to adjust the steering? (For now i've set steering to right/left click on the mouse as it at least gives me a chance at hitting silver level on the first few tracks)

Huh? That sounds strange. Can you record a video of what playing on keyboard is like for you?

Try to disable any form of vsync. I had the slow reacting too and disabling vsync helped me. Not sure if this is the case here.
