I don't like the idea of collisions... neither physical changes or damage level game modes. Wouldn't fit in the style of TM imo.
But I agree that some visual damage could be nice (I really miss open doors like in TMPU), it would just be strange if your car looks totally destroyed but still drives perfectly, so only little visual changes please :)

I think even physical damage would work fine. It's like always, if you want to win in rounds you have to avoid the walls :D
But if there will be timeattack or sth. similar I hope that you get a "new" car after you restartet your run^^

Here's an idea--much like if you go flying off the track to your doom, if your car gets too damaged you have to restart.

I like it, if there would be just visual damage caused by objects. But no physical damage. Physical damage would ruin all.

so gogogo for visual damage because it looks cool 8-)

I can't see how damage that affects the car will improve the game. I'm assuming that we will still want to play on short (1 minute) maps in Tm2 - although I guess that is up for debate - if so, touching a wall or an apex already destroys a lap without adding in car damage.

Still, it looks pretty - and I love the lighting on that second car, I'm gonna need a new PC for this :D
