Target gamemode

Rules
Target is a custom gametype. The rules are:
- Eliminate your target to score a point.
- A player can only damage his target.
- A player can only be damaged by his target.
- The first player to reach 10 points (the server can set another points limit) wins.

Advices:
A "Target" marker is displayed on your target to easily find him. If you don't see it, try to press the key ² to show the markers.

Play
To play it, you can join the server BCZ Target (maniaplanet://#join=bczteam1@SMStorm).
You can also play on CartoonCraft - Target (maniaplanet://#join=cc-target@SMStorm)

Hosting
Download Target.Script.txt from Maniapark and save it in Scripts\Modes\ShootMania\
You can play Target on any Melee map.

Can you probably show a picture about how you implemented the marker? Would be interesting to see how it looks. Might be a solution for the problems with battle waves -_-

I'm using the default marker. You can see it, for example, in Royal: it is used to display the text "Goal" on the pole.
I'll try to post a screenshot tonight.

Would be good to add some colours to that marker, so it's not so subtle.

I want it to be subtle. ;)
A player is supposed to look at the marker only when he doesn't know where his target is.

maybe an option would be to display the 'target' periodically instead of always, to enhance tracking, fight with covers etc.

For now, the marker is always displayed.
I think that the best solution would be to display a radar to find the target. It would be less precise and wouldn't interfere with combats.
But I don't know if it's possible (I don't think that we have access to the variable Players in a manialink on the client side).

What about a subtly covering arrow, that would 'approximately' guide the player to prey's position ?
