I already tried to "sell" the replay track, and It was 50 planets to replay the track for a 15min time attack session. And I was just whatching people go crazy because the server didn´t have the option to call the vote to restart the track.

If you are telling me that besides spending real money to rent a 24hs server and setting it up properly, which is some work, I have to do even more to make people want to pay PLANETS to the server, a server they really like, since they play on it almost everyday, then you are just confirming my theory.

People have a big difficulty to put their money on videogames, even VIRTUAL money.

Do you want my planets or not? I still need something to send them to.
The eyes of the plush lobster stared deep into my soul. I picked it up, and then I was a panther.

I´m not here asking for planets. I´m just showing this difficulty players have to put their money on videogames.

But, if you want to train for Zotac Cup, and eventually other cups, this is my server: maniaplanet://#join=zotac

If you would have simply a fine public server with a bigger amount of players and a wider difference in the chosen maps, this kind of players would appreciate it and donate.
One example is the Mistral server in United. I just played on that server since 2007 more or less as a regular and in the end I found out that I donated over 40k planets to this server, about 80% was for playing a map or to replay a map.
Or the server that I used to go before was called speeedaddicts and the community was simply the best, because all shared the love for the same amount of maps and even donated money in the late phase to keep the server running.

The problem in your case would be, that you are asking the wrong kind of players to show their appreciation for your server. In your case, you try to get something from the competition players that play to gain money and there is probably no way to get anything from them.

Thats exactly why we can organize a Smurfscup which attracts new players to our server. From the donated planets we can give away planets every week to the top 6 of the Smurfscup. This makes the planetcircle go round 8-) In this way planets can help making a server better known by the community. But after all, the fun is way more important then all those planets!!!

I don't know but usualy, especialy in my case, when you setup a server, you do that because you like other people to have a great time. Therefore a full server is all the reward you need. In my case I've been D-Jay-ing for free all my life and a dancefloor full with dancing people was all the reward I needed.

That's for sure and there are some people with the mentality out there as you and me. But sadly this is the minority.

looks like you´re excluding me of this group of joy, but if you read all my posts you´ll see that I´m not here asking for planets, and my server is still online, open to everyone, no planets payment needed, only welcomed.
