Maniaplanet 2 Update

As i do not know if i shoukd post this in the server and/or client thread i gonna post in in both

Seriously ... what the hell?

I just updated to Maniaplanet 2 and now i can't connect to nearly ANY TM2-Server including my own ones!

Why? However udpates in between nadeo games or Maniaplanet are done or handled, they always need to be compatible within!

Now it seems i need to update all my TM2-Server so people with the MP2 installed can connect to it again, right?
But what happens then to the people who got MP1 installed and wont install MP2 right now as it is optional atm?

Very confusing chaos ...

The problem is, that MP 2.0 offers an updated game version (Internal version numbers of MP1.0 are Maniaplanet/3.0.0 Timestamp xy while MP2.0 is Maniaplanet/3.1.0 Timestamp xy2) and also an updated game engine.
MP2.0 offers new blocks for TM² and thus old servers arent compatible anymore, they only are available for the MP1.0 setup which is available for those who don't want to play on MP2.0 yet.

Solo crashed on me as well...... I use the lower quality textures, 1024x600, AAx2, no bloom, medium-low everything else
this Hp laptop has AMD 6320 hd card AMD E-450 dual core. Handled the game before just fine ......

Thanks you for that explanation ... but that problems sucks
All my clanmembers are having problems with MP2,
beside the fact that we even can not play at our own TM2-servers anymore.

I gonna just send a roundmail to all clanmembers to NOT INSTALL Maniaplanet 2 for sure ... till it is out of beta and stable/bugfree.
