API in PHPBB3

I have managed to make my little script that retrieves information based on the players nickname and integrate it in the forum only impossible to recover your nick from my custom field on phpbb3 how do I do or how you have done here (as it's a bit the same principle I think)

We use a custom solution that can't be released as an open source solution. But you can do something like, using oauth API, to get the player's login, then use the API to get players data from the login.
