Just a quick question: with regards to the 'load from file' option, whereabouts is the file that map types are loaded from? I cannot seem to find it in either of the ManiaPlanet folders...

Was that it? :oops: That folder didn't actually exist in my ManiaPlanet folder, but I have created it and now it works fine! Thanks! :thumbsup:

Hi,
I am really having my very first try at map editing and have created a simple battle map with three cap points. Although I have created 2 spawn points the validator keeps asking me to "place at least 1 spawn no.1" what am fundamental stupid little thing am I missing? I have enjoyed this so far. But am now stuck and frustrated :x

can anyone shed a probably obvious light.

1) Click the "hammer" on the bottom left, then select "map type" and make sure it is set correctly.
2) Click the "wrench and gear" icon in the top right. Then click each spawn location and set them. I don't play battle, but I would assume that one spawn has to be set as "one" and the other as "two."

Hi,

I (foolishy?) opened Elite(exp) and made a map with it, now it says this when I open it with regular Elite;

Apparently exp has some blocks the ordinary Elite doesn't.
So my question is: can I convert this map -easlily- to a "regular" Elite map?

Also it seems wall jumps and hooks can't be used in the map editor preview? Any easy way to test them?
Thanks.

At the moment, there is no converter, you might want to remove those blocks and then you can load the map in regular Elite.

Possibly they work in game, which has to be confirmed, or you have to test them using the regular Storm or Elite titles.

Okay.

So I presume most of those exp blocks will eventually be integrated to regular Elite?
As a sidenote, why is NO ONE playing elite exp?
