Let the mod creator show his respect to the community, thus not naming his mod by the name of an outdoors game, that do not share the gameplay, only some elements of it.

It is good that he makes mods, but his creation is not the CTF most of the community is looking for, thus it has some severe differences, if we look at traditional outdoor CTF or the first, and the main CTF reincarnations in videogames, such as Quake or Unreal.

I'm currently working on a variation, closer to the "expected" CTF.
According to other people, where I've discussed CTF with, this kind of CTF is being used in some games, tho.

But since Froyd came up with a constructive suggestion, unlike pretty much the rest here, I'm motivated to update it to something better.

Yoshi kindly share his mode with other players here. It's his own CTF mod and some players have fun with it. You can write some comments or propose some suggestions provided that your posts are constructive.

My suggestion is to somehow change the name, because it misleads players who come from such games as Quake or Unreal. Before asking why, think, how many of ex-Q/U players are playing this game. And CTF they are used to, for years, is by for not the thing this mod is at this moment.

I'm not going to discuss about the name.
As I've stated before, and obviously you don't care; I'm working the coming days on a 'more wanted' CTF version.

The current version is ALSO called capture the flag, because it basically is capture the flag. Other games do call this capture the flag, because it is.
I'm sure you didn't even play the mode yet.

Can you please stop discussing about a name? Just leave the topic alone if you can only be negative about an user creation.

However, I'm of course open for critics, suggestions and feedback about the mode itself.

Or, to be precise, with it's popularity :D

Also, ASCII flag not always is visible. Tested by 9 people on a server yesterday. And, I am 100% that server is okay. Try to fix your things, not having two broken releases at once.

You're so insanely negative and annoying to me.

However, to make the flag visible, hit ` on your keyboard (or invisible). Toggles 3d markers.

We tried, that did not help.
I am not negative, I just have answered a 'qtf' post in a deserving manner.

You can also decide to help me a bit by testing and suggesting changes while I'm developing it. Might help getting something better, as I'm not totally sure what the "real" CTF is.
