No, I meant a 88,37 horizontal on a 4/3 screen, which should be 117.8 on a 16/9 if it can be simply multiplied.sengepc wrote:If 88,37 is the vertical FOV on a 4:3 ratio screen, that gives me a rough calculation of about 104 horizontal FOV on a 4:3 screen, which would be about 88 on a 16:9 monitor.Hylis wrote:Computation from the numbers makes me give you the answer 88,37 on a 4/3 screen. And I may be wrong.
Seems about right, though I would've guessed it to be a bit higher.
Is it for the incoming update or for later?Hylis wrote:We are working with metal and wood at the moment.
I still haven't understood what those objects are for.Hylis wrote:We are making an update really soon with the ability for players to import object.

Are they objects to be used in gamemodes? Are they static objects placed in the maps?

16:9 is 1.33 larger than 4:3. So with a fixed vertical FOV, the horizontal FOV with 16:9 is 1.33 times the one with 4:3. So 88.37 * 1.33 = 117.83.sengepc wrote:Well, the FOV calculator that translates 4:3 to 16:9 gives me a FOV of 71.829116550526 if the horizontal FOV is @ 4:3.
