I told it already, and it is the same as gameplay, we want to add stuff when it is solid and ready. The blocs in the trailer had some issues and we are in the process of making some others that we think are better. As simple as that.

Nitro, If you want the final product, come back at release. Otherwise, please contribute with a better spirit and avoid to speak as "the community" like if I was not part of it and that you can speak for it. We are in a topic of Q&A, so better to ask questions like Makc86 instead of trying to say what right we have or not.

No, I meant a 88,37 horizontal on a 4/3 screen, which should be 117.8 on a 16/9 if it can be simply multiplied.

We are working with metal and wood at the moment.

I said that update would be on hold during august because of the holidays of many. We are making an update really soon with the ability for players to import object. Also, I hope you are aware of the use of mods if you like visual diversity.

Are they objects to be used in gamemodes? Are they static objects placed in the maps?

Well, the FOV calculator that translates 4:3 to 16:9 gives me a FOV of 71.829116550526 if the horizontal FOV is @ 4:3.
This is obviously not the correct FOV that we experience in SM on a 16:9 monitor. CS:S uses 75, and that feels much lower than what SM feels like.

Also, 117.8 is not right either. Far too high.

Just by being in the game, the FOV definitely must be in the 87-100 range @ 16:9 aspect ratio.

I did some testing, and I sense that closest I've come to guessing what the real FOV is, is around 87-90 @ 16:9. (this is without any math. But just by comparing how it feels like when I set it in other games to 88 etc. 88 FOV would be my best guess, if I had to pick one number)

On a sidenote:
I actually do like that FOV you picked for this game. Its not as horribly low as games like CoD etc. It feels good. I don't want you to change the FOV. I just want to accurate figure. :)

16:9 is 1.33 larger than 4:3. So with a fixed vertical FOV, the horizontal FOV with 16:9 is 1.33 times the one with 4:3. So 88.37 * 1.33 = 117.83.

On the other hand, 88.37 with 4:3 seems lower than it is in reality as you can see both walls when in a corner (so it can't be lower than 90)
