Question for GIMPers:
Does anyone know how to edit a part of a alpha channel? I'm trying to edit the threshold on my DetailsIllum, but I only want to edit a specific part, the rear lights. However, when I tried, it edited everything else. I just want the rear lights to glow upon braking. Thanks in advance.

Re: Question for GIMPers:
Sorry I can't help you on that subject, I find GIMP very User-unfriendly and prefer either PhotoShop or Paint.Net (free) .. Try it and it might help

Thanks, I'll try it.
EDIT: I think I said this wrong, I actually meant this:
Can someone give me a tutorial on how to do brake lights for the DetailsIllum.dds in GIMP?

Re: Question for GIMPers:
Erm...I know I'm -way- late to the party here, but if you're still around, I'm one of the resident GIMPers...what you're going to want to do (if you're still using GIMP, that is) is go to your Layers window, should be one of the subwindows in the 2 boxes that pop up when you load GIMP, and right-click on your main layer, the one that is your skin. Right-click on it, go to "Add Layer Mask." Select "Transfer layer's Alpha Channel", and click Add. Right click on your layer again, and make sure that "Show layer mask" is unchecked" and "Edit layer mask" is unchecked, and that "Disable layer mask" is checked. Naturally, if you want to edit the alpha channel, then you want to reverse the checking of those three. When you're done, just click "Apply layer mask", and everything should be good. If not, come back here and I'll do what I can to help you out.
