When creating your account on Steam you were invited to copy and paste your validation code and your login. You should also receive an email from noreply(at)maniaplanet.com providing you with your login and validation code. Please check your emails and your spams box.
If you don't retrieve your validation code, then contact the Ubisoft support again telling them that you can't retrieve your validation code and that the Steam support can't help you out.

Im sick and tired of talking to people who cant do anything and just tell to talk to someone

ubisoft cant do anything steam apparently never heard of a cdkey to trackmania. no key was shown during istallation because all it was was a download on steam, already had the free beta version of stadium2 when i bought it on steam.
No email have i gotten either (yes checked all the folders)

please just fix your gamesplanet site so i can buy the game from there were i know it works, than i can buy it for the 4 time (3rd time to myself) and finally get to play with planets and the rest.' bought it for a friend from there and hey amazingly it worked even got a key..

i just had to use internet explorer to get the gamesplanet buy link to work, so bought a new copy from there and got the key that way.. thanks anyway.

Since the ability to use our keys with steam of which i have doe but already have it installed on one of my SSD's for optimal performance how can i link my already installed TMC & SMS to steam so as i don't have download the games again and have 2 installs ?
I really don't want to move my games over to the old clunky mechanical drive to where i have steam and other games installed especially as i have all my custom data and cashe stored on the SSD

If you want to play on Steam, you have to click on "games", then on "activate a product on Steam. You have to download the game again and it will be installed in a Steam folder. However the folder "mydocuments/maniaplanet is common to your maniaplanet installation and your Steam installation.

Hi there. I need serious help here. I made an account for maniaplanet two nights ago on a friends Steam account after he purchased Shootmania, which I didn't realize was going to TIE the MP verification to his Steam account. Because of this, he was not able to play Shootmania until I had purchased the game and given him my login details so that he could use the CD key I paid for. I have just purchased Canyon, which I obviously can't play now because of the strange ways you link these accounts.

Is there anyway I can talk to someone who can swap which Steam account is tied to which Maniaplanet account? I would really like to be able to play your games...

Normally you can't link two times the same game to the same login.
Steam automatically registers a game to ManiaPlanet, but there were a few issues in the past few days.

So If I understood you right, your friend has purchased ShootMania, and you purchased it again and gave him your key?
Why can't you play Canyon? The games are different, and you could create a new ManiaPlanet account for it.

Yeah, that whole linking thing should probably be mentioned pre sign-up... Yes, after he purchased Shootmania, I created a ManiaPlanet account, linking his Steam account and my MP acc. I, feeling awful for this, then got a copy and allowed him to sign-up to MP through my Steam account. Otherwise he couldn't play (without spending another $20.)

Hence, when I attempt to play Canyon and try to make another MP acount, I'm told "Account creation failed - Steam account is bound to an other ManiaPlanet account."

It is a bit of a mess Sorry I can't sort this out.

No, now I just use my account through my Steam. Basic gameplay works fine but seemingly I can't use the manialink bar at all... Which is a pain because I can't access Combo for shootmania, or the store.

Is there someone I can perhaps speak too about untying my steam account from my mania account? The intergration doesn't seem smooth, but MP seems fine/well refined on it's own and I'm kind of crushed about the strange way it's been tied to Steam...
